Founder of African Street Foundation

Bismark Botchway

Founder & Executive Director

In 2018, Bismark Botchway was walking through the streets of Accra when he encountered a group of children who hadn't eaten in days. This chance meeting changed the course of his life and set him on a mission to make a difference.

Growing up in a modest household himself, Bismark understood the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. With a background in social work and community development, he decided to use his skills and knowledge to create sustainable solutions.

What began as providing meals to a few children quickly grew as Bismark saw the depth of need in the community. He rallied friends, family, and colleagues to support his vision, and the African Street Foundation was born.

"Every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and thrive," says Bismark. "Our work is about more than just providing immediate relief—it's about creating pathways to self-sufficiency and dignity."

Today, Bismark leads the foundation with unwavering commitment, continuing to develop innovative programs that address the root causes of poverty and vulnerability in African communities.
