Feeding Programs
Our feeding programs ensure that no child goes to bed hungry. We provide nutritious meals to children in vulnerable communities, helping them stay healthy and focused on their education.
From daily meals at our community centers to school feeding programs and emergency food relief during crises, we work to address hunger as a fundamental barrier to development.
Before the feeding program came to our school, many children would come to class hungry and couldn't concentrate. Now, attendance has improved, and children are more engaged in learning. It's made a tremendous difference.
Education Support
We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our education support programs help children access quality education by providing scholarships, school supplies, and tutoring.
We also work with schools to improve learning environments and support teacher training to enhance the quality of education available in vulnerable communities.
I never thought I would be able to finish school. Thanks to the scholarship from African Street Foundation, I've not only completed high school but am now studying engineering at university. My whole family is proud, and I can help lift them out of poverty.
Youth Empowerment & Skills
Our youth empowerment programs provide vocational training, entrepreneurship skills, and mentorship to help young people build sustainable livelihoods.
From digital skills and craftsmanship to agriculture and business management, we equip youth with practical skills and connect them with opportunities in the labor market or support them in starting their own businesses.
The digital skills training opened doors I never knew existed. I now work remotely as a graphic designer, earning enough to support my family and even hire two assistants from my community. The foundation didn't just give me skills; they gave me a future.
Family Upliftment Projects
Recognizing that strong families create strong communities, our family upliftment projects provide holistic support to vulnerable families, helping them become self-sufficient and build better lives.
Through microfinance, parenting skills, healthcare access, and housing support, we empower families to overcome challenges and create stable environments for their children to thrive.
The microloan helped me start my small shop selling food items. Now I can feed my children, send them to school, and even save for the future. The business skills training was just as valuable as the loan itself.
